Apply for 2027 — Johannesburg
Applications are open for the 2027 academic year at our Linbro Park campus, for children from 3 months to 13 years.

The admission process
- Enquire. Phone or email us and we will send the prospectus and application form.
- Visit. Book an appointment with the Registrar, Adam Darby, or the Director of Studies, Olivia Darby, to tour the school and grounds and have the Montessori method and daily operations explained in detail.
- Apply. Return the completed application form and accompanying documentation, with proof of payment of the registration fee and deposit.
- Assessment where applicable. Primary school applicants, and applicants with special needs or barriers to learning, may be asked to spend a day or two in the classroom so the teacher can assess their academic, social and emotional level.
- Before attendance begins. School fees, lunch fees (if applicable), stationery and Edu-Demo fees are payable prior to the start of attendance.
- First day. Please arrive half an hour before classes start so you and your child can meet the teachers and settle into the morning routine.

What your child would be joining
A prepared classroom, five acres of grounds, and a day that moves between the two. Most parents decide on the tour rather than on the page — so if you have not been yet, come and see it before you send the form.

Admission fees
| Registration fee (non-refundable) | R2 000 |
|---|---|
| Deposit (refundable) | R10 000 |
Both are payable on submission of the application form. If needed, the deposit may be paid over three consecutive months at R3 333.33. The deposit is refunded when your child leaves the school, provided one full term's written notice has been given. See the full 2027 fee schedule →
How places are allocated
Where the number of applicants exceeds available places, selection is based on the following, in order: applicants who have submitted the application form, accompanying documentation and admission fees; siblings of current pupils, except where this is not in the best interest of the children; applicants who have previously attended a Montessori school; and the capacity of the school to provide quality education to the applicant, which applies particularly to applicants with special needs and barriers to learning.
Admission policy
Discrimination is against South African law. Pupils and staff are appointed on merit. The school's ethos is rooted in the belief that all people, regardless of race, colour, language, creed and gender, are of equal worth and are treated equally in selection for, and in the general operation of, the school.
