Applications are open for the 2027 academic year at our Gillitts campus in the Upper Highway area, minutes from Hillcrest.
The admission process
- Enquire. Phone the school on 078 006 5289 or email modmont@global.co.za and we will send the KZN prospectus and application form.
- Visit. Book an appointment to tour the school and have the Montessori method and daily operations explained in detail.
- Apply. Return the completed application form and accompanying documentation with proof of payment of the admission fees.
- Assessment where applicable. Primary school applicants, and applicants with special needs or barriers to learning, may be asked to spend a day or two in the classroom.
- Before attendance begins. School fees and any additional fees are payable prior to the start of attendance.
KwaZulu-Natal fees
The KZN fee schedule differs from the Johannesburg schedule. Contact the school on 078 006 5289 for the current 2027 KZN fee schedule and prospectus.
How places are allocated
Where applicants exceed available places, preference is given to applicants who have submitted the form, documentation and admission fees; to siblings of current pupils; to applicants who have previously attended a Montessori school; and according to the capacity of the school to provide quality education to the applicant.
